Steve Jones - SLJ Commercial Finance
I established SLJ Commercial Finance  in April 2005 to provide an independent commercial finance broking service, specialising in the provision of commercial mortgages.
I have over 31 years banking experience and was a Senior Business Manager with a major UK bank. I have been directly involved in the small business market for over 20 years and have considerable experience in dealing with a variety of businesses in numerous sectors.
I care passionately about customer service and look to build strong and lasting relationships with all of my clients. I always give ‘best advice’ even if this results in me not undertaking the deal.

What I Do
My specialist area is the provision of commercial mortgages and property related finance. This includes owner occupied premises, commercial investment properties, short term bridging loans and development finance for house builders and developers.
I see the transaction through from start to finish and provide a very personal ‘hands on’ service. I will also assist with the preparation of a Business Plan if that is what is required to achieve a successful result.
I have developed relationships with very many lenders, some well known and others not so, due to being more specialist. This means that if a deal can be done, then SLJ Commercial Finance can find a lender to do it!
I am also able to source commercial mortgages for clients who have a blemished credit history (CCJ’s, etc) or who are unable to provide the usual accounting type information
